Eagle Eye Software: Easily Compare USPS and UPS Shipping Rates

January 8th, 2010

Stamps.com is introducing Eagle Eye software, a great new shipping rate comparison tool for UPS WordShip customers. Eagle Eye is a companion software program that will compare U.S. Postal Service and UPS prices side-by-side to ensure that you always pay the lowest rate to ship your packages. Best of all, Stamps.com is allowing you to print USPS shipping labels free of charge for a limited time if you print your labels through the Eagle Eye software.

How Does Eagle Eye Work?:
While you’re working in WordShip, Eagle Eye takes the address and shipping data that you enter into the UPS program and compares it with USPS shipping rates in real-time. The Eagle Eye program window appears next to the WorldShip program and updates the rate comparison if you make any changes to your package shipment.  If you find the USPS offers a lower shipping rate for your package, you can easily print a USPS shipping label inside the Eagle Eye software. There is no need to re-input the delivery address – Eagle Eye will automatically import the package delivery details into the Eagle Eye software for a seamless USPS shipping label printing process.

Detailed Cost Savings Reports
In addition to comparing shipping methods, Eagle Eye can generate detailed cost savings reports by day, week or month so you can keep track of how much money your business is saving or potentially could save using the US Postal Service to ship your packages compared to UPS.

Eagle Eye only is free to download and use for UPS WorldShip customers.  Download Eagle Eye and start lowering your shipping costs today.

I downloaded eagle eye software to use beside UPS worldship 2010. I love the idea but who do I contact about bugs or suggestions?

My company sends out between 40 – 100 packages daily and we can benefit greatly from this program!! However, it will only print one USPS label before I have to restart the program because it will continue to say “Connecting to postage servers” forever even after it is connected and the label has been printed.

Also, it does not seem to work with our label printer “Zebra ZP 450″. Just a side note we use UPS Worldship for UPS labels and ReadyShipper for USPS labels..

If you have an update please email me. I would be very happy to help spread the word about this program!

    Thank You

    Geoff K

I am running windows vista x64

Why doesn’t stamps.com start a program to allow users to print UPS and FedEx labels from within the stamps.com software?

Unfortunately, you can not hide postage on a NetStamp — hidden postage is only available on shipping labels.
