Happy Customer Service Week!

Every year Stamps.com is thrilled to participate in National Customer Service Week, an annual week-long celebration where we honor our Customer Care agents for all their hard work throughout the year. Our dedicated customer care agents represent the voice of Stamps.com to our customer. They represent our company and our products. It’s a lot of responsibility but they are more than up to the task.

This year, our Customer Service Week will last 8 days to coincide with our new “Great 8 Customer Care Core Values”, a list of values that guide our customer care representatives every day.

#1 Be Passionate:  Our Customer Care agents are excited about our company and our products. That enthusiasm should be conveyed to our customers on every call!

#2 Be of Service:  We’re here to help inform and service our customers, making their use of Stamps.com as easy as possible.

#3 Be Resolutionary:  In order to help, we must solve issues and challenges that our customers bring to us each day.  We don’t allow service calls to go unanswered – our goal is to make sure all customer’s concerns are resolved to their satisfaction.

#4 Cultivate Great Relationships:  We love customer feedback!  Your suggestions help make Stamps.com the best mailing and shipping software in the market.

#5 Listen Generously:  We understand the art of active listening – when our customers talk, we listen!  It’s impossible to solve a customer’s issue unless we have listened attentively.

#6 Evolve:  Our customer care agents are always learning and growing, and that includes how we help our customers.  We accept customer suggestions and move to implement features as soon as possible.

#7 Celebrate: We all support each other and celebrate our accomplishments individually and as a team

#8 Have Fun:  You need to have fun at work to really enjoy it, and our Customer Care agents have fun and share that joy with our fellow team members and most importantly, with our customers.

Based in Canton, Ohio, our Incept Ohio Support Team is part of the backbone for our entire Customer Care Team! This team handles customer support calls around the many features and benefits of our product and specializes in helping our customers get the most benefit from using Stamps.com.

Melissa-L Melissa L.: Things I like to do in my off hours include just relaxing, spending time with family and friends, going to cookouts, riding and feeding horses and watching Nascar! What makes me tick? Knowing that I’m doing a good job for Stamps.com customers and the company, and also the positive feedback that I get from my supervisors on my progress!
Melissa Melissa M.: Outside of work, I am a pretty laid back person … I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and friends! I love to smile, laugh and enjoy life!
Rupa Rupa: My daughter is my number one motivation and she is the one that keeps me going! I also enjoy spending time going to church and being with my friends and family!

Spotlight: Stamps.com High Volume Shipping Team!

Our High Volume Shipping Team (HVST) supports Enterprise accounts (accounts with 10 or more locations), corporate shipping accounts and other partners of Stamps.com. In 2012, HVST was recognized as the “Customer Service Team of the Year” by the American Business Awards. HVST works directly with our Sales Department to provide a highly tailored support experience to our largest customers, including phone and email support, account management, and customized implementations and deployments.

Cecilia Cecilia:Most of my free time is spent with the family; we play video games, go for bike rides or just hang out at home by the pool and barbeque. At least twice a year, we head out to the dunes for off-roading (Quads). I also like to crochet/knit and sew, both of which I find therapeutic! Gloria Gloria:My hobbies outside of work are hiking, knitting, reading, taking pictures and cooking. I love coming up with new recipes and sharing tasty treats with my loved ones! Additionally, I love to challenge myself and just completed my first 5K in September. What really makes me tick is knowing that I am the architect of my own happiness! Our Customer Relations Team is our Special Teams unit. They are the ones that our customers talk to for the special plays and issues. They specialize in dealing with the most complex issues or questions that our customers may have. And our Email Support Team are the Safeties for the team. They are the ones who are still on duty after the rest of the team has gone home and are here to help our customers on weekends. They ensure that our customers’ issues are promptly responded to with thorough explanations and helpful guides!
